Do Birkenstocks run true to size?

Birkenstocks are based on European sizing and tend to run true—but the real magic is in the fit. We stock narrow and regular widths and offer soft footbed options. Our team will help you find the exact match for your arch and foot shape.

What if I have wide feet? Or one foot bigger than the other?

Been there. We’ll measure both feet and recommend models or lacing styles (like Taos or Chaco) that accommodate width or asymmetry. You’d be surprised what the right footbed can fix.

Do Blundstones stretch out over time?

A bit! Blundstones are made with high-quality leather that softens with wear. We’ll help you size just right from the start—especially if you wear thick socks or plan to add an insole.

Can I bring in my orthotics or custom inserts?

Absolutely. Many of our Dansko, Taos, and Haflinger styles have removable footbeds. We’ll find something that plays nice with your orthotics—and doesn’t cramp your style.

What if I’ve got high arches or flat feet?

You’re in the right place. We specialize in shoes with real support. From Chaco’s LUVSEAT™ to Haflinger’s cork-latex beds, we’ll show you options that love your arches back.

Returns & Exchanges

Can I return shoes if they don’t feel quite right?

Yes! As long as the shoes are unworn and you have your receipt, we accept returns or exchanges within 30 days. Try them on inside and walk around your house to make sure they’re right.

What if I wore them once outside and now realize they’re not for me?

We totally understand that shoes are personal—but unfortunately, once they’ve been worn outside, we can’t resell them. If you’re unsure at purchase, we recommend taking some indoor test walks first.

Do you charge restocking fees?

Nope. We keep it simple. No restocking fees, no guilt trips. Just let us help you find the right fit.

Availability & Brands

Do you carry all sizes in every brand?

We do our best—and honestly, we stock deeper than anyone in the region. From narrow Birkenstock Arizonas to wide Dansko XP 2.0s, we keep our warehouse packed. But popular sizes fly fast, so feel free to call ahead.

What brands do you carry?

We totally understand that shoes are personal—but unfortunately, once they’ve been worn outside, we can’t resell them. If you’re unsure at purchase, we recommend taking some indoor test walks first.

Can I reserve a pair of shoes to pick up later?

Of course! Give us a call at (509) 482-4515. We’ll pull them for you and hold them for 24 hours.

Comfort, Medical & Support Needs

Do you have shoes for plantar fasciitis?

Yes, many. Brands like Birkenstock, Dansko, and Taos offer excellent arch support and heel stability. We’ve helped a lot of sore heels walk out smiling.

What about shoes for bunions or hammer toes?

We’ve got roomy toe boxes and soft leathers that give where they need to—no squeezing, rubbing, or pinching. Let us know your pressure points, and we’ll help.

Do any of your shoes help with knee or back pain?

Yes. Proper alignment starts at your feet. Blundstone, Haflinger, and Chaco are often recommended for posture correction and shock absorption.

Do you carry diabetic-safe shoes?

While we don’t sell Medicare-coded diabetic shoes, many of our leather-free or extra-depth models work well for diabetic foot care. We’re happy to guide you toward what’s best based on your needs.

Local Pickup & In-Store Experience

Do you sell shoes online?

Nope—and that’s on purpose. Fit matters. Style matters. You really need to see, feel, and try the shoes before you commit. We believe footwear should be experienced in person—and we’ve got a friendly (not pushy) staff ready to help.

Do you offer shipping?

We don’t ship at this time. We want you to be completely happy with your shoes, and that means trying them on, walking around, and talking to someone who knows what they’re doing.

Is there parking at your store?

Yes—plenty of free parking right out front. No meters, no garages, no stress.

Do I need an appointment to get fit help?

No appointment necessary. Just stop by anytime during our open hours and we’ll take great care of you.

Do you ever run sales or promotions?

We do, especially seasonally or during model closeouts. Follow us on Facebook or ask in-store.
